Alot of the Anonymous posters on indymedia originally had helped to set up the old anarchy BBS system & indymedia.org when it was first started a long time ago, did you know that it was Sydneysiders from Sydney who created the indymedia.org network on top of old anarchy based BBS Bulletin Board Systems. Indymedia used to be run from Lord st in St peters Sydney but now that building has been demolished & new tenants have moved in. Not to sure who runs the indymedia.org server anymore or where its mirrors are but a long time ago they used to be in Sydney.

Australians, like all people in general, are a caring people however sadly we continue to live in layers of racism which the Australian identity has failed to unveil. Many Australians have a hostile denial of our collective racist identity and of our discriminatory maltreatment of certain peoples. Since the day I was born into this country I have felt the layers of racism, and brutally so. I have been made aware of the colour of my skin, of my parents' country-of-origin, of the fact that I must assimilate in order to have prospects of personal advancement.

During the running of the Grand Annual Steeplechase at the May Warrnambool Jumps Carnival, there was carnage on the racetrack as numerous horses fell and one horse jumped over a 2 metre fence into a crowd of spectators injuring young children and the elderly.

The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses believes this is further proof as to why a ban on jumps racing is necessary as the sport will never be made safe.
