Eight years on and Aboriginal people in the Territory are still being impacted by the continuation of the policies now called ‘Stronger Futures’. Nicole Watson a Birri-Gubba woman and [former] senior Lecturer at the University of Technology Sydney says to this day she is still stunned that Government could pass legislation that would have such a dramatic impact on the lives of Aboriginal people.
