JUMPS RACING MUST END!!!

During the running of the Grand Annual Steeplechase at the May Warrnambool Jumps Carnival, there was carnage on the racetrack as numerous horses fell and one horse jumped over a 2 metre fence into a crowd of spectators injuring young children and the elderly.

The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses believes this is further proof as to why a ban on jumps racing is necessary as the sport will never be made safe.

Below is a video The Coalition for the Protection of Racehorses will hope go viral..So spread it people....

Although your efforts are important, we believe it is also essential to point to possibke alternatives which could become an annual fesitval. e.g. for instance more effort put into bmx events. Im not into BMX myself as in my 70's but it is a cruelty free family friendly active participation sport. If there was more inputm by the govmt it would ot be so expensive. every age group can participate -even geriatrics. Itry to go to some of the bigger events such as nationals and state due to my ganddaugher participating and find the atmosphere friendly and co-operative despite my age. It certainly wouldnt take much to make these events bigger festive occasions?
