You Make Us Feel As If We've All Been Fools

Over roughly the past three years my country, America has had the opportunity to have President Barack Obama as our president. It is now 2012 and as we head into the election for those of us that voted for him, though we wish we could say differently in our hearts, there is a place that remains unsure and disappointed. There were so many promises and most of us that voted for him in 2008 knew there was no way to fulfill those all or even mostly.

To get the justice done, the splintered, shard-like "left" needs to coalesce

Gerry Georgatos

The compassionate left wing screams for social justice and argues for our governments and society's institutions to have a heart and help people from the bottom end up, and to desist with the proposition that they can achieve for the downtrodden by working from the top end of town and down.

The bona fide left wing is fractious and forever splintering and yet it calls out for groundswells of people power to coalesce in mass social movements which will give rise to cultural waves.

UK government conspiracy to cover up paedophilia / UK cabinet admits to have blocked lawsuit against Pope / Raelians organise protests worldwide in front of UK embassies

Las Vegas USA, March 5, 2012 - The International Raelian Movement (www.rael.org) says they have a letter from the UK Cabinet which proves that the UK Cabinet is complicit in crimes of paedophilia as well as Crimes Against Humanity. All this stems from a lawsuit the Movement filed against the Pope during his visit to the UK in September 2010, alleging covering up paedophilia within the church as well as Crimes Against Humanity for the Vatican's telling millions of Africans that condoms do not stop the transmission of AIDS.

Tell me lies... Pinocchio joins campaign against Tassie forest destruction

Bryan Green got a surprise this morning - the Deputy Premier of Tasmania was fresh off the plane from his much vaunted trade mission to China and Japan, selling out Tasmania's forests, and he was confronted with a huge walking, talking Pinocchio. The Last Stand crew got together with the Huon Valley Environment Centre and Code Green to give him a warm welcome back to Oz.
