Over the last year, a religious antipoverty organization has met with U.S. Treasury and White House officials to encourage them to declare the Syrian government of President Bashar al-Assad an illegitimate government. This action would impose restrictions on lending to Syria that supports its military or the needs of the Assad regime. When governments or financial institutions make this declaration it lets lenders know that if they lend to Syria they may not receive a return on their investment.

That a first world nation like Australia actually has to “debate” the merits of removing racially discriminatory powers from its founding document speaks volumes about us as a people. It begs the question: why would a nation which claims to respect basic human rights need constitutional powers to discriminate on the basis of race?

The original intent of constitutional reform is, broadly speaking, three-fold.

1. To amend the preamble to acknowledge Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people’s special place in Australian society as the original custodians.

At the centre of every galaxy it is predicted that their is a black hole & this black hole is the vortex of the galaxy & attracts matter & transmutates matter at its singularity creating intergalactic gas & the intergalactic gas condeses then creates stars, planets & so forth.

The Good news is that we can migrate to the approx 1000 confirmed planets & many moons that have been discovered without being worried about being sucked into our milky way's galaxy black hole, for the black hole is very far away from our section of the galaxy.

Why have the major parties totally ignored the issue of poverty?

Many are asking, what will happen to Greece and the eurozone and what will it mean for Australia?

It seems to me that economists generally, with some exceptions, do have a bit of a monopoly on delusion. Fallacious assumptions ground their theories, information everywhere seems to be skewed, predictions are made without an acknowledgment of the full extent of fraud and corruption (which is rampant), and conflicts of interest regularly creep in.
