Linda Burney continues to terrorise NSW

This woman can not correct obvious errors, has no initiative, doesn't deserve a job at McDonald's but is head of her profession. Inapropriate for her to intervene is an insult, but standard procedure, with desperate pleas from devastated parents to show some common sense. Linda Burney and her cronies are terrorising the state of NSW.

Federal Election 2010: Major break with two-party system

Bob Briton

A hung parliament with neither the ALP nor the Coalition able to claim government in their own right. That is the result of last Saturday’s federal election as The Guardian goes to press. It is a fitting outcome for the major parties. Labor, the Liberals and the Nationals have become completely remote from the communities they claim they want to serve. Their “solutions” to the pressing concerns of the people are less and less convincing and trust that they will ever deliver on their commitments has nosedived. Their close ties to the corporate sector are plain for all to see.

Prime Minister avoids climate protest and talk of climate change

The missing words at Julia Gillard's first address as Prime Minister to the National Press Club was "climate change". Outside the building Climate activists from Rising Tide Newcastle had dumped a ute full of coal at the entrance. How to achieve zero carbon emissions by 2020

The public launch of the Beyond Zero Emissions report - Zero Carbon Australia 2020 - was delivered to an overflowing audience at Melbourne University last night.
