We are inviting you to come to the Sydney Launch of the National Stop Deaths in Custody Coalition, Saturday July 27 2013, at 3:30pm, at The Settlement, 17 Edward St Darlington. This is a part of the nationally coordinated response to stop all deaths in custody. This event is also the Sydney launch of the National Day of Action on September 28th, 2013 on the 30th Anniversary of the Aboriginal death in custody of John Pat by the Roebourne police in WA in 1983.

I have never been more frightened in my life. I locked the gate of my town camp and kept the kids inside for two weeks for fear of them being taken. I worried constantly about my family out bush who didn't understand what was coming.
