FEB 6th : Solidarity Action For Egyptian Anarchists

On the 6th of February we are asking for all anarchists, freethinkers & trouble makers to gather outside the building housing the Egyptian Consulate on 50 Market St, Melbourne CBD at 3:30PM in a show of solidarity for our Egyptian anarchist brothers and sisters who are currently facing serious repression from the religious fascist Morsi and his brutal Muslim Brotherhood backed regime.

Anarchists attack Australia

In the early hours of January 26th we tipped a bucket of paint on a statue celebrating the First Fleet in Brighton Le Sands, Botany Bay.

We later threw numerous paint bombs at a massive statue of James Cook in Hyde Park, who according the plaque on the monument “discovered this territory in 1770”.

We sprayed stencils reading: "FUCK AUSSIE PRIDE", "DESTROY COLONIAL AUSTRALIA" & "PROUDLY UNAUSTRALIAN" throughout the city, Redfern, Newtown, Marrickville, Sydenham and at Bicentennial Park and Carss Park, where ‘Australia Day’ celebrations were to take place.

Solidarity with Villa Amalias from Sydney

On Thursday the 20th of December in Athens Greece, Villa Amalias squat was raided by riot police and eight comrades inside were arrested. All have been charged with various felonies and misdemeanours and are being held at Athens police HQ till they will be brought again before a judge on the 24th of December.

August 5 Sydney: banners dropped in solidarity with Toronto G20 Prisoners

On August 5 some anarchists dropped two banners from the Cahill expressway bridge outside the Canadian consulate. The action was in response to a call for August 5 solidarity actions for Kelly Rose Pflug-Back, an anarchist hostage of the Canadian state, recently sentenced to 15 months in prison for her resistance to the 2010 Toronto G20. The banners read:

Venezuela: Interview with Rafael Uzcátegui

* Rafael Uzcategui is a member of the group that publishes the anarchist newspaper El Libertario in Caracas (Venezuela). As antimilitarist, he is also a member of the War Resisters’ International and works in a Venezuelan human rights NGO called Provea. He is author of the books “Heart of Ink” and “Venezuela: Revolution as Spectacle” in which he reports the so-called Bolivarian process of Chavez and the true face of his “revolutionary” government. Free Pussy Riot action at Russian consulate April 21 Sydney

On April 21 a demonstration was held at Sydney's Russian consulate in solidarity with three young women imprisoned by the Russian state. They stand accused of being members of Pussy Riot and performing a punk prayer on the alter of Russia's central cathedral.

An anarchist response to the police murder at a Rainbow gathering near Tenterfield NSW

On April 16 Ryan Pringle, the 33 year old son of a former Balmain rugby league star was shot to death by police at a rural commune called the “School of Happiness” in Northern NSW. The details of this sad day are not completely clear, but it seems that Ryan had arrived at the camp earlier that day, as a group called the Rainbow Family Australia was preparing for a 6 week gathering.

Anti-work activists expose Australian secret agents and generally disrupt military and mining expo

On the 19th of March, the degree factory otherwise known as the University of New South Wales (UNSW), held their annual 'careers expo'. It is an event designed for those who engage in the process of learning as a means to securing their place in the pyramid scheme that is capitalism. The vast majority of potential employers hearken from the mining and 'defence' industry.

Anarchist Vandals salute Lambros Foundas

In the early hours of the 10th of March, exactly two years since Lambros Foundas was gunned down by uniformed pigs in the street of Athens, some anarchist vandals targeted the Marrickville branch of the Beirut Hellenic Bank.

We sprayed "BURN BANKS" "FOR LAMBROS" "FOR SOCIAL REVOLUTION" on the windows of the bank, put superglue in the ATM card slots and covered the screens with paint.
