Stop Martin Ferguson dumping on traditional owners: Northcote Town Hall, 21 April 10

Federal Resources and Energy Minister Martin Ferguson's ears should have been burning on Wednesday evening as speakers at an information evening at Northcote Town Hall attacked his perverse obsession with building a nuclear waste dump on Indigenous land at Muckaty in the Northern Territory.

The media are full of myth-making about the "heroic" Australian military's exploits in Afghanistan, mourning the deaths of Australian troops but not those of their victims.

The ANZAC DAY ANTI-MILITARIST ACTION is on again. It will be held outside the old headquarters of the Industrial Workers of the World, We'll be there again to oppose all wars past and present and particularly to oppose Australian imperialism.

Workers around the world are on the same side. All armies are our enemies.

DOWN WITH MILITARISM!

International Workers Memorial Day 2010

http://ohsrep.org.au/news-views/campaigns/international-workers-memorial...

Ten Victorian workers have already died at work in 2010.
Thousands of workers have already been injured or made ill from their work before this year - and many more will be before the year iis through.

People continue to be killed because of their work - more die because of work than in wars. Most don't die of mystery ailments, or in tragic "accidents".
