I write this to u on the occupied lands of the Wurundjeri ppl and near the lands of the Bunwurrung ppl. Melbourne is again occupied by the ppl and not the corporations.
Victory 1 day one for Occupy Melbourne and the Bans, Divestment and Sanctions movement. Melbourne Central Shopping Centre was shutdown. It has a store owned by the Strauss Group called Max Brenner.
There were great and emotional speeches, covering the reasons to BDS businesses like Max Brenner.

The Adelaide based organisation Action For Palestine and a number of other independent activists organised an action against the Israeli cosmetics company SEACRET. This action was taken as part of the international Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions (BDS) campaign which seeks to end Israel's apartheid policies against the Palestinians (see http://www.bdsmovement.net/ for more info).

A Pro-Palestine Anti-Israeli Apartheid Boycott Divestment and Sanctions Action in Melbourne Central was carried out by the C.A.I.A. (Coalition Against Israeli Apartheid). It targeted Jericho Cosmetics in Melbourne Central, an Israeli cosmetics company, on December 3rd
