“Share the Feeling!!”

Is an event open to all wanting to get a glimpse into the suffering of hundreds of thousands of Tamil civilians currently detained within military run camps in the North of Sri Lanka. By coming to this event, you will gain an eye opening view of the starvation, lack of sanitation and shelter, torture, and other unimaginable occurrences which Tamil people endure day after day.

Public meeting: Women For Justice invite you to Join us to remember the suffering of Tamil women in Sri Lanka. In July 1983, racially motivated ethnic cleansing killed more than 3,000 innocent Tamil civilians. This year alone, the UN reported that over 20,000 innocent civilians were killed by Sri Lankan Government forces in less than the span of a week during May. Many of them were women. Today 300,000 innocent civilians who fled conflict areas in Sri Lanka are being forcibly detained in military controlled internment camps behind barbed wire.

Christian Activists found on Shoalwater Training Area

Margaret Pestorius, Jarrod McKenna, Jessica Morrison and Rev. Simon Moyle have been found this afternoon on the Shoalwater Bay military training area after entering the base yesterday. The four are expected to be handed over to the Queensland Police and taken to Rockhampton Police Station.
