15 Feb 14: "The suicide crisis ravages at unprecedented levels the communities of First Nations peoples but no longer can ignorance be argued by Commonwealth, State and Territory Governments, that they are not aware of the extensiveness of the crisis. The Stringer, The National Indigenous Times and The National Indigenous Radio Service have brought the crisis to the attention of every relevant Government agency and including the Office of the Prime Minister. Because of our coverage, the Prime Minister’s Indigenous Advisory Council has committed to addressing the crisis. Last week, Australian Greens Senator raised the suicide crisis in the Senate." By Gerry Georgatos, a life-long human rights and social justice campaigner, a multi-award winning investigative journalist
