Gillard and Macklin are about to launch (May 2011) a Welfare Bashing program to "assist" people back into the workforce and those on meagre benefits no less.
This follows the same format as what is being used in the Northern territory as both John Pilger and Eva Cox have warned the public about this abhorrent state of affairs. See: Newatilda and Eva Cox's: "It Began with the Intervention" and other potent articles about this topic.
A head at St. Vincent De Paul as well as other creative minded people who also do not want to do "Howard and Bush Welfare Bashing" are speaking out in support of "No not on, not on again"
The job networks failed people miserably with several politicians openly stating they were more than brutal prior to getting into government and then now doing the same things as the previous government. Change is acoming.
This cannot be allowed.
There is a positive to all this; the very week the Commonwealth government wants to begin it's "welfare bashing regime with white people now instead on just the Aboriginals" a book is entering the market: "Wikileaks and the age of tranparency" by the remarkable American author.
It's worth reading as the author states the obvious about democracy sincere.
If Macklin and Gillard want to be Top Down Down Under or anywhere they're walking on thin ice.
I've watched people of all cultures being destroyed by job network systems and structural systemic abuse of power and stand beside people who have not lost their humanity and want a Fair and Euitable Australia not a puntive to the vulnerable kind, nor an Australia totally sold out to the worst aspects of American policies monetary matters and monetary only even at the cost of people's precious psyches.
Don't they dare.
Gillard and Macklin are sadistic and sad.
The people however are not masochistic and will fight this one all the way .

Re: Welfare bashers return in latest government robes
This is a good article even as some content is missing I get the gist.
It's time for Social Security to mean what it was and is meant to be.
It's also time to admit the jobs are not there and many are sent off to unsuitable wrong jobs tossed about from here to there in a demoralising fashion that does nothing to sustain work for anyone but the job find agencies [think Therese Reins and how she made her forrtune] [Think Salvation Army & how they were up for found unlawful fraud taking government monies of very high amounts talking millions] [The list is endless] and the government.
Re: Welfare bashers return in latest government robes
