Australia Brisbane Transit Worker On Privatization, the Labor Party & Injured Bus Drivers

David Matters, the assistant Vice President of Queensland Rail, Tram
and Bus Union talks about the attack on bus drivers and public workers
in Australia. He discusses the use of privatization to destroy public transit
and the targeting of senior and disabled workers by management to
attack their health and human rights. According to Matters injured and
disabled workers are under direct attack by the Labor Party councils and
government in Australia. He also calls the Labor Party prime minister Julia
Gillard of Australia a "traitor" for allowing the establishment of a US military base in the country.

This interview was done at a International conference of bus truck and
train workers of the ITF in San Francisco on December 12, 2011.
