A new video has been posted on Youtube by Wikileaks shows footage from 2007 when U.S. Helicopter crews opened fire on civilians including children in Iraq killing over a dozen people including two Reuters journalists. The callousness of the criminal U.S. occupation is revealed in the laughing soldiers as they gun down people attempting to pick up the wounded
This is a war that Australia participated in, that was illegal under International law and that has resulted in the deaths of 1 million Iraqi's. The U.S. with Australia's co-operation in terms of troop contribution but also with our satellite bases on Australian soils is also continuing its bloody war in Afghanistan and Pakistan. The U.S. of air power - both manned and unmanned aircraft has killed thousands of civilians and each time, like in the case in the video shown the U.S. states that only "insurgents" were killed. The fact that this incident was investigated and declared to be within the U.S. rules of engagement shows how little effort is made to protect innocent lives.
