World Naked Bike Ride Melrose

Date and Time:
Saturday, March 19, 2011 -
7:30am to 10:30am
Location:
Melrose - Over The Edge

This is an event held around the globe where we peacefully expose the vulnerability of cyclists, humanity and nature in the face of cars, aggression, consumerism and non-renewable energy. Because Melrose is so cutting edge, we have our own ride as would be expected. This is our 2nd year.

Meet at OTE at 7.30am and disrobe as you dare. Head to Sleepy Hollow Gazebo to remove more clothing of u like. Buzz along a path up FFFT and up on to Throwing Copper and along Blazing Saddles to Bald Hill lookout for a group Pic (artfully done to preserve dignity as required) and then down the other side into Hidden Valley to Big Rhua back down Bear Pit to Weaving Camels and back to our clothes and normal lives.. coffee at OTE afterwards. This is an international event and the Adelaide event is on the 12th March which clashes with WOMAD so we are on the following Saturday. More info at worldnakedbikeride.org.
