March to the ABCC

On Tuesday June 15, a rank and file building worker, Ark Tribe, faces trial. Ark is charged with not attending a secret interrogation with the Australian Building and Construction Commission (ABCC) about a workplace safety dispute. Ark has displayed courage – we need to display solidarity. The Rudd Labor Government has not yet fulfilled its promise to abolish the unfair laws imposed on construction workers by the Howard Government.

In 2010 we will be campaigning to get rid of all the coercive powers from construction industry laws, which mean that hard working building workers like Ark can no longer be intimidated.

IF ARK IS JAILED – ALL OUT IN 2010
