Speakers:
• Jessie Taylor, lawyer and refugee advocate has visited Indonesia's immigration detention centres and has reported on the substandard conditions in which Asylum seekers are being held in her report "Behind Closed doors" and is in process of making a documentary based on some of the footage she captured on her visit. These detention centres are funded by the Australian Government as part of the "Indonesian Solution".
• Saradha Nathan, Sydney Tamil community activist who has also visited Indonesia will report on the humanitarian situation of the Tamil Asylum seekers from the boat in the port of Merak.
