Tuesday 14 August 9:00am -4:00pm
55 Johnston Street Fitzroy
Over the last 14 months, we have been involved in a long and bitter dispute for a union agreement with decent pay and conditions.
Now, TUV management are trying to avoid passing on all the gains of the Equal Pay case recently handed down by Fair Work Australia.
The Equal Pay case was a major victory for workers in the community sector and we won't let our boss get away with locking us into an agreement that doesn't pass on these long overdue wage increases.
We say: GET YOUR HANDS OFF OUR EQUAL PAY!!!
We won't give up until we have a decent agreement and every single cent ordered to be paid to us under the Equal Pay case.
We encourage other community sector workers, unionists and supporters to come and visit us on the picket line.
This dispute has implications for all community sector workers, if TUV management gets away with what they are proposing, other employers will surely follow their lead. If this happens Equal Pay won't mean much at all.
It's important that SACS workers FIGHT for full implementation of EQUAL PAY!!!
