Organise or be part of a Stand Up Against Poverty Event in your area. This is a global day of action to call on governments to keep their promises and ensure the Millenium Development Goals set in 2000 are met. Australia for example is yet to meet its target of 0.7 of Foreign Aid. Last year over 116 million people Stood Up Against Poverty. Join them this year to say that we can end poverty. You need to register your event online so that it can be included in the final tally.
