On the 30th April 2010 Sherbrooke Community School will be holding a concert and auction in support of the group Sea Shepherd Conservation Society, The event has been completely spearheaded and organized by students. There will be speakers from Sea Shepherd speaking at the event along with ex-crew members. There are auction items from some of the finest Australian and international musical acts. There are items from Aussie bands such as a signed set list from local band The Living End and poster from Powderfinger and signed Cd's From Melbourne singer Dan Sultan and Sydney Hip hoppers Bliss N Eso and international acts Pearl Jam, Ben Harper and Rise Against. The night will consist of local musicians, Kate Henderson, Anna Paddik, Athula Mamaborupodakqua and band The Inagiable.
Tickets to the night cost $10 and will be collected at the door.
All proceeds to Sea Shepherd
Year 12 student and main organizer said “We are proud here at Sherbrooke to give a helping hand to save the world’s oceans from destruction, threw helping Sea Shepherd”
