The Background

The Occupy Melbourne protests have been going on for 3 months now, pushing limits imposed on them by council, police, and the state.
Love them, hate them, don't care about them, they're there and it doesn't appear they'll be going away any time soon.

Many people are unsure about what the Occupiers want, what their demands are, or what they have to say about various issues facing Australians and the world. Many people have the idea that the occupiers don't know what they're aiming for and are just doing it because they have nothing better to do.

The Series

Kenji Wardenclyffe, a melbourne based documentary film maker, set forth to clear up the haze put forth by mainstream media networks, misinformation, and confusion regarding the Occupy Melbourne protests by taking a look directly at the source.
Asking the Occupiers themselves why they occupy, and what they see as issues facing Australians, as well as questions regarding their experiences on the day of the eviction from city square, he put together an ever growing collection of interviews.

The Screening

Now, for a second week, the Occupy Melbourne Interviews series will be screened, FOR FREE, in the city at City Square.

9pm - 10pm at City Square, these interviews will be screened for your viewing pleasure.

You can be a supporter, a hater, or indifferent to the Occupy movement both in Australia and around the world - it doesn't matter. This screening is open to everyone, and everyone is invited to come.
