Neil Murray was a founding member of the Warumpi Band, which brought indigenous music to a mainstream audience in the 1980s. The Warumpi Band performed songs such as My Island Home, Blackfella Whitefella, Fitzroy Crossing, Jailanguru Pakarnu, Stompin Ground, From the Bush and Waru. Since 1989, Neil Murray has pursued a solo career performing to audiences around the country in festivals, theatres and pubs.

This fundraising concert will help RRAN to continue its important work, campaiging to end the Australian government's inhumane refugees policies and offer a welcome to newly arrived asylum seekers.
