Something for everyone

This is an annual two-day multicultural event to celebrate the birth of the founder of Buddhism, Sakyamuni Buddha. Through the many and varied activities available to the community and people of all ages, visitors will be able to experience and understand the compassion of Buddha, learn about other cultures, gain new experiences, or simply be entertained and have a fun day out.

• Bathing of the Buddha Ritual
• Baby Blessing Ceremony
• Multi-faith Prayer for Peace Ceremony
• Multicultural Vegetarian Food Fair • Multicultural Performances
• Lion and Dragon Dance
• Cultural Display
• Meditation
• Children’s Rides

This event is proudly supported by the City of Bayswater, Office of Multicultural Interests, and National Australia Bank.

Entry is free and everyone is welcome. Free parking is available at Gibney Reserve, Mephan Street, Maylands, with regular shuttle bus services to and from the event venue.

Transperth Bus Service No. 48 & No. 55 runs along Guildford Road and the nearest train station is Maylands Station, just 10 mins walk to the venue.
