WGAR: Working Group for Aboriginal Rights (Australia)
Comments
To celebrate 200 years of European settlement in the Illawarra
Tonight's Council meeting Agenda item D is by Clr. Chris Connor,
also Principal of Helensburgh Primary School,
proposing to set up a committee to celebrate 200 years
of European Settlement in the Illawarra.
I was with my Japanese wife in Surry Hills Sunday afternoon
when Dooch Kennedy made an impassioned speech on Aboriginal rights in Australia
and tied it to residents rights in post-Tsunami and post-nuclear fall-out Japan.
See you tonight,
Bob Foster.
