On Friday June 8, the Sea Shepherd Conservation Society’s MY Bob Barker will berth at Sydney’s Overseas Passenger Terminal, where it will be open to the public for free tours on Friday June 8, Saturday June 9 and Sunday June 9.
The long-range ice-class vessel returns to Sydney with her crew, triumphant after the hugely successful Operation Divine Wind Campaign in the Southern Ocean, where this season it played a key role in preventing the slaughter of seven hundred and sixty-eight (768) whales by Japanese whalers.
Sydneysiders are invited to visit and explore what life is like on board a fully-operational vessel, and meet some of the international crew who travel from all around the world to volunteer their efforts with Sea Shepherd in the fight to save our marine life and oceans.
There will also be Sea Shepherd merchandise for sale, and the crew will be accepting donations of vegan food items and much needed ship equipment.
