Walk Against Warming
Saturday 12/12/2009 @ 12pm
State Library, Swanston St Melbourne

In December, world leaders meet to decide what to do about climate change.

We want to send them a message they can’t ignore. A message that we want them to take bold and decisive action to reduce greenhouse pollution, and create a safe climate.

With your help, we can make sure our voices are heard in Copenhagen.

So come to the WALK AGAINST WARMING and help us form a massive HUMAN SIGN. A sign so big they’ll get our message in Copenhagen.

So, are you in? Great! Then please RSVP, to let us know that you’re coming.

WONTHAGGI WALK AGAINST WARMING

11am on Saturday 12th December

Wishart Reserve, opposite the Wonthaggi Library.

March down McBride Avenue to Apex Park, for speeches, music and BYO picnic.

During the Copenhagen summit, join the world-wide action to halt climate change. Meet others who share our concerns that the planet is being irreversibly depleted by our carbon-heavy footprint. Bring an example to read out of how YOU have changed your life to reduce your impact.

Spread the word - only by local climate change action can we get real results !
