Joan Manuel Fernandez Mendoza on the life cycle of transport infrastructure
Joan is a PhD candidate from the University of Barcelona. His studies focus on the life cycle assessment of materials involved in urban transport infrastructure. The aim of the research is to compare the infrastructure burden associated with each mode of transport and the potential benefit of replacing these modes with more sustainable alternatives. Electric vehicles (EVs) are a focus of his work.
