The 11th of March 2012 marks one year since the tsunami and subsequent nuclear disaster in Fukushima prefecture, Japan.
Australian uranium fueled the Fukushima nuclear catastrophe and has caused extensive human suffering and long-term environmental damage.
It’s time to end Australia’s dirty and dangerous uranium trade.
On Sunday the 11th of March please join us for a demonstration from 1PM at the State Library of Victoria (see website for events in other states).
Come with us as we march past the headquarters of uranium mining companies Rio Tinto and BHP Billiton and stand in solidarity with those people impacted by the Fukushima disaster.
Help send a clear message that our energy future is renewable not radioactive.
