THE EGYPTIAN REVOLUTION: A YEAR ON

One year on from the Egyptian Revolution come to this very special panel discussion.
The event will be co-hosted by Socialist Alternative and the Egyptian Association for Change.
Speakers:
Dr Baher Zaghloul: Secretary for the Egyptian Association for Change (Victoria) and will be providing a brief synopsis of the events since the
fall of Mubarak.
Reham Maklad: Convener of the April 6th Movement in Victoria, speaking on the revolutionary unity forged last January between women and men, Coptic Christians and Muslims as well as the attempts by the military government to undermine these changes.
Corey Oakley: Editor of the Socialist Alternative website and magazine and participant in the Conference of the Revolutionary Socialists in Cairo 2011. He will be speaking on the challenges faced by the revolution and the importance of trade union and working class struggle.
