OCCUPY WALL STREET ACTIVIST Leia Pettey speaks in Australia at Marxism 2012
Leia began political organising in the US during the global justice movement and helped mobilise students to shut down the WTO meetings in Seattle in 1999. She is currently a member of the International Socialist Organization, the OWS Labor Outreach Committee and the New York Collective of Radical Educators. Since September, she has spent most of her time occupying Wall Street.
