Qantas workers have been locked out, public sector nurses in Victoria are taking industrial action in response to proposed cutbacks by the Bailleau government and out at the Baiada chicken processing plant in Laverton, workers (and members of the National Union of Workers) have beat back police lines and remained on indefinite strike for decent wages and job security.
