YOUTH CHALLENGE AUSTRALIA
Indigenous Youth Leadership Program
Applications are now open for Youth Challenge Australia’s Indigenous Youth Leadership Program!
We are looking for Indigenous volunteers to participate in a six week community development project in Vanuatu. You will team up with five other Indigenous volunteers as well as Indigenous Ni-Vanuatu youth to work with a rural community in their development towards a better future. The program offers you an invaluable opportunity to gain leadership skills, explore new personal boundaries, and make important contributions where it counts – all while having fun and experiencing things most people only dream about!
If you….
Identify as Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander;
Are aged between 21 and 30;
Are available to undertake a 6 week leadership, community development and cultural exchange project in Vanuatu, plus one week of training and debrief in Sydney, between 21st June 2012 and 8th August 2012;
Are available for a phone interview between January 16th and February 16th 2012; and
Are motivated to make a difference in the world;
