Kakadu Acid Test - uranium extraction by acid leaching in a world heritage national park
Despite the worsening environmental management crisis on their hands at Ranger mine in Kakadu, uranium miners ERA are pushing ahead with plans for Acid Heap Leaching - a process never before used for uranium in a climate like ours.
This public meeting will hear from expert speakers including:
