Medical research funding is on the chopping block - with $400million cuts to NHMRC funding confirmed to be in the pipeline for the May federal budget. This is real. We have ONE WEEK to make a difference!!
It's time to get the government and the media's attention and to act - The Discoveries Needs Dollars campaign is calling for an old-fashioned rally!
When: Tuesday 12th April
Time: 12.45pm
Where: State Library of Victoria, Swanston St, Melbourne
This will be an open and peaceful rally for all members of the community. It will be a static rally starting at 12.45pm with guest speakers from 1pm. Please spread the word.
We have one last chance to get our message across. Come with signs (nothing offensive please), banners, lab coats (CLEAN ones!), goggles, friends and a fighting spirit!
