Mullumbimby Concert for Japan

The people of Byron shire and the Japanese community have been busy focusing attention and raising funds for the Japanese earthquake and its aftermath.
The community is planning a big Concert for Japan on Sat 9th April, at Durrumbul Hall, from 3pm till 12am. The concert will feature a line up of the shire's best musos, incl Wild Marmalade, Deya Dova, OKA, Yeshe, Tommee, Passion Flamenca, Laura Target & Shai Shriki, Will Conner..., Matthew Pitts & the Green Tea Icecream, Armando & Rodney, Hip Hop Prophetesses, Gina Lakosta, Beau Young, Barefoot Gypsies, Nakula, Yusuke Akai, Taiko team KIZUNA, DJs, plus more.

The day will also feature Japanese food, culture and art, a bazaar, a sunset ceremony and a people's action for a nuclear free world, with guest appearances by filmmaker David Bradbury and Mookx, longtime peace activist.

Entry to this family friendly event is with a suggested donation of $20 or $15 concession. All proceeds will be donated to charity in Japan.
