Just a sidenote to the 16th minute
What was unfair after WWI was not the amount of reparations in the Versailles treaty (which was less harsh than the Brest-Litovsk treaty it superseded) but that the attempt to regulate everything through money allowed the German arms industry and banks to undermine it by fabricating an inflation. Since this made the stability of the treaty rest on the stability of the currency, all they needed to do to crash the treaty was to crash the currency. Not only could that then be brazenly blamed on Versailles but the domino effects would reach Wall Street was well. For the military-financial complex such behaviour is all just business must get worse before it can get better.

"...as well."
