Yabun 2011: A celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Culture

Starting in 2003, Yabun 2011 will be held on the 26th of January (Australia Day). It is the largest single day Indigenous festival drawing an audience of between 10,000 and 15,000 and is one of the most important Indigenous music events in the country reflecting the huge wealth of Indigenous creative talent.

Although festival guests mostly comprise of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families and the community, Yabun also attracts a wider audience made up of the general public, music fans, supporters of Indigenous Rights and Indigenous Arts and Culture enthusiasts.
