On Tuesday night there will be a solidarity gathering for Josefa Rauluni, who took his own life on Monday morning, as well as the detainees currently protesting on roof in Villawood. One of Josefa's relatives, also a detainee in Villawood, was placed in isolation and had his mobile phone confiscated. The solidarity gathering will be at the hub in Newtown from 6pm

Dept. of Immigration Occupied
At about 4.00pm on September 21, a dozen people occupied the Department of Immigration in central Sydney, saying that they would stay in occupation till the Villawood detainees' demands are met. The mood was somber, knowing that three men have said that they would committ suicide at Villawood by 5.00pm today if they were not able to speak with immigration officials.
