Big Red Quiz Night 2010

Date and Time:
Saturday, October 23, 2010 -
7:30pm to 9:30pm
Location:
Federation of Education Unions Building 120 Clarendon St, Southbank

Calling all news junkies, bibliophiles, trivia buffs – and run-of-the-mill Leftie geniuses!

The Big Red Quiz Night is just around the corner, and that means that another year has almost passed us by. Have you been paying attention?

2010 may not go down as the turning point in world history, but there have still been enough twists and turns to keep us guessing. Our quiz team has been hard at work mining the nuggets of trivia gold from the mountains of tedious information. Now we just need you to come along and test your powers of retention, have a laugh with comrades and friends – and help raise money for the New International Bookshop.

As always there are huge prizes for the top three tables, a booby prize for the last table – and spot prizes, games and a raffle throughout the event for individual glory and enrichment.

There will even be an art auction on the night: going under the hammer will be `Two Youths' by Noel Counihan (reserve $500).

Start getting your table together now...

Entry: $25/$15 concession. Drinks at bar prices.
Book a table of eight, a small group or as an individual.
