Don’t Get Conned Into Voting For Any of the Anti-Working Class Parliamentary Parties!

Let's Get Organised to Fight for Working Class People's Rights!

REVERSE THE CUTBACK TO SINGLE PARENT PAYMENTS!

MASSIVELY INCREASE PUBLIC HOUSING!

FORCE PROFITABLE COMPANIES TO INCREASE HIRING -STOP ALL LAYOFFS!

The ALP, Liberals and Greens are rabidly seeking your vote. However, what are they offering working class people? The Liberals barely hide their intention to rip more out of us. But what has the ALP done in government? They cruelly slashed payments for low-income single parents, sending tens of thousands of single mothers and their kids into terrible poverty. Meanwhile, the ALP has undermined public housing, which has made rents more unaffordable and driven more people into homelessness. As for the Greens, they chose to remain in a coalition with Labor while it was dumping on low-income single mothers, privatising public housing and incarcerating refugees. Furthermore, just like the Liberals and the ALP, the Greens do not plan to lift a finger to prevent greedy company owners from slashing their workforces whenever their drive to maximise profits demands it.

So no matter who wins the elections, working class people will get no relief. The only way to defend our rights is to bring our own huge numbers to bear in united action. And what better way to start resisting the new government that will be installed than by rallying on Election Day itself. Let’s show them we are not going to be conned by any elections!

Unfortunately, if we don’t turn up to vote, we get fined. So in the morning get your name ticked off but make sure you don’t give any vote (including through preferences) to any of the anti-working class, current parliamentary parties. Then in the afternoon, make a real difference by joining the rally for working class peoples’ rights. Let’s fight to claw back some of the wealth that has been taken from us by the corporate elite and their governments. With unemployment rising, let’s especially begin to challenge the “right” of business owners who have become fabulously rich out of our labour to lay off workers whenever their lust for further wealth demands it. Ruling class politicians and media commentators cynically blame refugees for unemployment but the people who are really slashing our jobs are the greedy company bosses whom these politicians serve. So working class people: let’s unite and join with our allies on election-day to demand:
