STARTTS will hold its fifth annual Refugee Ball on October 9, 2013, in order to raise vital funds for the services, treatment and rehabilitation of refugee torture and trauma survivors.
The Refugee Ball is the largest fundraising event for the association, bringing together distinguished individuals, corporations and professionals interested in improving the lives of refugees within the community. This year, all the proceeds will go to the School Liaison Program, which will help traumatised local refugee children receive the proper care and support they need within schools in Australia.
The event is anticipated to be the biggest one yet and will be held at Dockside, Balcony Level, Cockle Bay Wharf, Sydney at 7pm-12 am.
It will include a three course dinner, drinks, a charity auction, raffles with prizes to be won, dazzling guest speakers and live musical entertainment featuring the spectacular performances of Oscar Jimenez and his band.
Tickets can be purchased individually or for a table of ten.
