"Lolita" a 42 year old Orca, is one of many animals who are exploited day after day at Miami's Sea Aquarium. The story of Lolita is a tear jerking one and has caused a huge stir amongst animal activists all around the world. The story dates back to 1970 when Lolita and her family were seperated in a harsh capture off the coast of Washington state. Of 7 young Orcas that were captured from her pod, Lolita still lives on in her diminutive puddle of an enclosure that extends 35 feet and is 20 feet deep at the deepest point and for a 21 foot whale that is an absolute disgrace. So a protest will be held in various states across the world on the 15th of May, in order to promote Lolitas story and in hopes to retire and rehabilitate Lolita.
