Help us paint a banner to support refugee rights this Thursday at 11:40am in South Court. The Melbourne Uni Refugee Action Collective will be organising a contingent to march behind the completed banner at the demonstration on April 2nd outside Broadmeadows Detention Center, a prison that incarcerates children as young as 12. We'll be sending a loud and clear message that students stand with refugees and asylum seekers against the inhumanity of mandatory detention and demand that all children be released.
After the banner painting, we'll be having a regular organising meeting of the Melbourne Uni Refugee Action Collective. Bring your ideas for the campaign.
