Is it a controversial religion, a dangerous cult, or simply a pyramid scheme conjured up by a washed out Pulp Science-Fiction author from the 50s? Either way, there is no doubt in many people's minds that the Church of Scientology has been committing human rights violations left, right and center since its inception. Claims of sexual abuse coverups, forced abortions, the tearing apart of families, violence against critics, numerous accounts of deaths due to negligence and the censorship of the human right of freespeech are just some of the allegations put forth against the Church.

Melbourne Anonymous, a group of like minded human rights activist, critics, and people who have been affected by Scientology, come together once a month to educate the public about the human rights violations of the Church of Scientology, peacefully protest against the church's crimes and show the government the public demands action.

On August 14th, Melbourne Anonymous will be assembling once more to protest against the Church of Scientology.
