In 1968 Gary Foley read Malcolm X. Since then, he has been one of the most radical and uncompromising voices in the Aboriginal struggle against racism and the Australian state.
In 1972 he was a founding member of the Aboriginal tent embassy that embarrasses politicians in Canberra to this day.
He was also part of the successful fight against the apartheid South African rugby team, the Springboks.
In this meeting Gary will speak on the ongoing history of Aboriginal resistance to colonisation and genocide.
Entry by gold coin donation.
