With the recent disaster that is still escalating at the Fukushima Dai-ichi nuclear power plant in Japan we are reminded that nuclear energy is an extremely unsafe & unreliable source of power.

Is Australian uranium fuelling nuclear disasters?

Join us for this public event to hear the truth about the nuclear industry in Australia & the truth about the Fukushima Dai-chi catastrophe

Speakers include:

* Dr Peter Karamoskos (The Medical Association for the Prevention of War)
* Dr Jim Green (National anti-nuclear campaigner, Friends of the Earth Australia)
* Tomohiro Matsuoka (Japanese for Peace)
* Dr Merryn Redenbach (Doctors for the Environment)
* Dave Sweeney (Nuclear free campaigner, Australian Conservation Foundation)

Performance by Fuefukuro (Japanese Shinobue flute and Taiko drum ensemble).

Both Martin Ferguson & members of the Australian Uranium Association have been contacted to speak at this event, so fingers crossed a pro-nuclear representative has the courage to speak.
