The mainstream media has said many things about Occupy Melbourne, sometimes taking things out of context, always putting a spin on the events and views of the protesters to "maybe" suit mainstream media and big business interests. But is what they say actually true? Have the public gotten an accurate depiction of the events surrounding the movement and the eviction day?
As such I thought to myself it'd be a good idea to go straight to the source and show the public what the Occupy Melbourne protesters have to say themselves about why they Occupy, the issues surrounding Australians, and what sort of things they experienced on the dark day which was October 21st (Eviction Day).
That is where the Occupy Melbourne Interviews series began.
On Friday 3rd February, Occupy Melbourne has decided to have another screening of the series of interviews I made with them at their weekly Occupy Friday event.
