To commemorate Anne Bon a plaque will be unveiled at the Kew Library. Anne Bon (1838-1936) pastoralist, philanthropist and campaigner for Aboriginal righs was a close friend of Wurundjeri statesman, William Barak and had a house in Charles St Kew.
Aunty Doreen Garvey Wandin will give a Welcome to Country and descendants of Anne Bon will be present. Guest speakers include Anne Bon's great-grand daughter and a historical plaque will be unveiled.
