'Respect, Unity and Peace' is not found in a Council that left people at serious risk of injury because of the Councils own doings.

'Incompetence, negligence, dishonesty and an outright refusal to perform their duties' is what is found at Canterbury City Council.

Where is the 'Respect, Unity and Peace' in this dishonest statement? "There is no doubt that there has been considerable unavoidable expense associated with this matter. I am advised the strata owners of 78 Undercliffe, have been endeavouring for years to reach sort of financial agreement with Mrs Mallone to stabilise the cliff face. The failure to reach an agreement led to the commencement of proceedings in the Supreme Court" (one of many lies contained in a letter from the Council General Manager Jim Montague to the Member for Canterbury-MP Linda Burney).

A deliberate lie that Canterbury City Council has to date failed to address. So, being that
1. the General Manager Mr Jim Montague (PSM) failed to retract that filth nor apologise to Mrs Mallone or the public for his failure to ensure he performed his duties as per the Canterbury City Council Code of Conduct Policy.
2. the NSW Ombudsman conveniently neglected to address the conduct of the General Manager in relation to this letter.
then maybe the Canterbury City Council Mayor Robert Furolo can address it.

Show the public the 'Respect, Unity and Peace' of Canterbury City Council. Tell the public Mayor Robert Furolo why this incompetent Labor dominated Council has FAILED to address any MALLONE issue.

Why did it require the sole two Liberal Councillors to ask "WHAT THE HELL IS HAPPENING"?

We applaud Councillors Ken Nam and Michael Hawatt who had the guts, decency and honesty that no Independant, ALP or Green Councillor obviously had within them.

You Mayor Robert Furolo are a disgrace.

How many years Mayor Robert Furolo have you known about the maladministration within YOUR Canterbury City Council and refused to address it?

As stated in the post above - 'Respect, Unity and Peace' is not found at Canterbury City Council.

Neither is competency, skill, honesty, or just the simple knowledge of what Councils role and functions are.

For how many years did your incompetent and corrupt Council advise in writing a Development Application was required for the cliff stabilisation works.

For how many years did your incompetent and corrupt Council ignore the unauthorised fill and retaining wall constructed on Mrs Mallone's neighbouring property. Works that arborists and geotechnical engineers advised had a direct impact on the vegetation and collapsing cliff. Was it not Council who advised Mr Mallone in 2005/2006 that the fill and retaining wall had no approval?

Yet 10 years after construction, 7 years after vegetation deteriorated and the cliff commenced having major collapses, and stability issues and some 5 years after Council advised those works were unauthorised. Council did nothing.

Incompetence, negligence, and the most dishonest Council in Australia believes it can simply say I apologise, we have had no idea of what we are doing.

Your incompetence, negligence and dishonesty Canterbury City Council, cost an 80yo woman over $250,000 and her life.

Everyone should be very wary of this Council.

Respect, unity and peace is no where to be seen in these officials.

These people have been dishonest, unreasonable and failing the public for years. The Mallone issues are just the current issues.

There have been many, many before. Deaths as a result of Council not providing the duty of care that was required. Staff discriminated by the General Manager and Mayor.......and the list goes on.

Everything is available on the net. Every legal action this Council has taken and every legal action taken against this incompetent, negligent and dishonest Council is there.

This is definitely not a Council with values of respect, unity or peace.
